One of the best methods of gaining inbound links is to sponsor wordpress themes. Having just tested this for a client with a very small budget of £500 which resulted in over 3,000 inbound links including PR5’s I can give the following tips.

Choose a very flexible theme which allows downloaders to modify easily for their own needs.

Choose a clean theme with minimal graphics

Embed 3 different anhcor texts in the footer and encrypt the links

Distribute the theme to as many free wordpress theme sites as possible
