This is an interesting development and could lead to changes in how web design is done. There are some sites out there already that a built for speed. For example, http://www.bethere.co.uk is a full text only design and looks very good.

You can find out how to configure your machine to use them here. I’ve always used OpenDNS servers which are very good, it will be interesting to see how they compare to the new Google DNS Servers.
