Google has just launched their own free public DNS servers, this will help speed up your internet browsing. You can find out how to configure your machine to use them here. I’ve always used OpenDNS servers which are very good, it will be interesting to see how they compare to the new Google DNS Servers.

Google Homepage Redesign
Google made some changes to it’s homepage today. These were based on user testing and I’m sure will result in increased “conversions” of users into searches.
Google Sidewiki
Google has just release Sidewiki for the Google toolbar. This enables users to write comments on individual webpages and sites. This function could be the beginning of the end of easy SEO as the data collected by millions of users could be used to influence the SERP’s rather than just links.
Google Adwords Links
Google has recently added links to their first place horizontal ads. These links are similar to natural search site links. You can control what the text is and the destination URLs for them. We are receiving a 30% lower bounce rate using these ads.

Google updated toolbar pagerank yesterday, made many sites authority and dropped some site penalties the week before.

New Google Analytics Options
When adding some Google Analytics tracking codes today I noticed that there are some new options and features available when selecting the code. Take a look below;
The most interesting option is the checkbox for tracking adwords campaigns which then prompts you to link your analytics account with your adwords account.
